FIFTH GRADE
During the months of March and early April we will be continuing our journey into American History by diving into the Constitution. We will be discussing how our new nation was about to fall apart and how a group of men, some who were still hanging around from the Declaration of Independence time, locked themselves in a room argued, fought over, and scrutinized every word of the Constitution so that America’s new government would be designed to be able to stand the test of time.
SIXTH GRADE
During the months of March and early April we will be looking at the time of the
Renaissance Era. We will be learning about the people, buildings, art, and religions of this era. We will be looking at how these things that happened in the past 200 years, have impacted our world today. We will be discussing some of the more important contributions of the Renaissance era that have helped to create the educational system that we have today. We will be finishing up the lesson with discussions about one man in particular, who left the Catholic Church and started a reformation that would lead to the end of the Catholic Church during medieval times
